On this page of the tract, the Bishop is portrayed as the intellectual who has no idea of what the Bible teaches. Admittedly, there are good and bad Bishops in the Church, just as there are good and bad leaders in any denomination. To portray any of them as ignorant of the teachings of the Bible is an injustice and a mis-representation that Christ would not want any true Christian to make.
