See how the author implies that the Catholic Church never taught about Jesus and his saving graces and how the wife (Rose) has replaced the role of the Priest in this mans life.
It is true that there are bad priests in the Church just as there are bad pastors and leaders in all other denominations. However, these bad priests and leaders should not be used as an indictment of the whole group.
